A few examples of rhymes that have been written for weddings.
Rhymes "A" and "B" are really rhymes for cards sent to the bride and groom,
with rhyme "C" being used inside a wedding invitation.
Wedding Rhyme "A"
A wedding is a union, two souls become one,
To share a new life, a point to start from.
A moment in time, for others to share,
A coming together, to show that they care.
The exchange of the vows, and not forgetting the rings,
Makes this special day, one of life’s wonderful things.
Wedding Rhyme "B"
When two lonely hearts, come together to form one,
They create a strong bond, a platform to start from.
But this bond needs work, through the happiness and tears,
Give it your all, and the bond will last years.
A lifetime of love, trust and respect,
In a happily married couple, these things you’ll detect.
Wedding Rhyme "C"
Being shot by cupid, can be a terrible thing,
It causes you to get married, and all the stress that can bring.
The guest list, the venue, the table plan too,
The menu, the favours, who doesn’t like who?
The wedding dress the suits and not forgetting the rings,
Oh then there’s the speeches and all the stresses that brings.
But through all the worries it is quite a buzz,
We would love you to be there, and share it with us.
